Additionally, events like Hovercraft and Towers tested the students’ abilities to engineer solutions to presented problems. They assessed students’ understanding of scientific topics through tests ranging from Anatomy and Physiology to Rocks and Minerals. The ESTEEM Team, dedicated to Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, Essays, and Mathematics, competed against over 40 of the best and brightest schools in Florida in 23 events. Fifteen members of the Upper School ESTEEM Team participated in the Florida State Science Olympiad for the first time on March 24 at the University of Central Florida.
